Kristin O’Neil was our mortgage broker for buying our first home. We were clueless about how the buying a house process went at first, and even more clueless about getting a loan/mortgage. We were also dealing with a housing market that was unprecedented with incredible offers made by the buyer and there were so many bidding wars (some houses went over 70k over asking price!). Kristin was always a phone call away, she was 24/7 willing to help us (and I do mean 24/7, nights, weekends, holidays).

She helped us to better understand our Mortgage and our loan, she answered many many questions that we had, she educated us, She helped us to plan a budget to determine how much we could offer. The amazing thing about Kristin was that she never once made us feel like we were intruding her or an inconvenience to her. I never felt like just a paycheck to her, I felt like almost a family member to us. Her kindness was constant throughout.

Her hard work was never more evident than about an hour an a half before our closing date (when we finally had a contract accepted). She called us and told us that based on the rates for that day, she was able to lower our interest rate by .25%, so we pushed our closing by a day. Little did we know that Kristin was able to actually lower out interest rate by .50%!!!!!!! That lowered our monthly mortgage about $100.

She was so kind to send us a personalized cutting board with our family name and her company engraved on it once the whole process was complete. I can’t imagine ever working with a different mortgage broker. We consider Kristin like family, and we are so very grateful for her. I don’t know how we could have done this without her.
