A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Since launching her career in the mortgage industry in 2008, Kristin has built a reputation as one of Virginia’s most trusted lending professionals. Nearly two decades in, she has grown into a leading Senior Loan Officer and the founder of Open Door Lending, and she still approaches every client with the same energy she had on day one. As Kristin puts it, she wouldn’t dream of doing anything else.
What drives her isn’t just closing loans, it’s helping families find their footing in a new chapter of life. Kristin sees a mortgage as more than paperwork; it’s the first step toward the memories, milestones, and stability a family builds in a home. She’s known for a level of personal attention, steady guidance, and clear communication that keeps clients coming back and referring their friends and family for years after closing.
Kristin has received many distinctions throughout her career, to name a few: she was named to MPA’s Elite Women in Mortgage list in 2025, inducted into the Hall of AIME in 2025 by the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts, and named the #1 Mortgage Broker in Virginia by Scotsman Guide for 2026.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Salisbury University. Originally from Mount Sinai, New York, she has called Richmond home since 2009, where she lives with her husband, Corey, and their two children, Grayson and Caroline. When she’s not helping clients unlock the door to their next home, she enjoys traveling with her family.
